In a letter addressed to the government in Skopje, 12 Bulgarian associations in North Macedonia state they want to be included in the working group on constitutional changes. They say they welcome the establishment of a working group as a step towards resolving the issue of including Bulgarians in the preamble of North Macedonia’s constitution.
“That would guarantee the rights and the freedoms of the representatives of Bulgarians in the country, according to the constitution. The Bulgarians say they are ready to nominate their representatives, citizens of North Macedonia, to the commission.
