MP of "We Continue the Change" and former finance minister Assen Vassilev disputed the 5 billion euro capital expenditure laid down in the draft budget. According to Vassilev, the state is not ready to spend these funds.
Speaking about the negotiations over the formation of a government, Vassilev said that "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" keep their position of not supporting a government of GERB-SDS. "We have deep differences when it comes to governing the country," the MP said.
Speaking to BNR, GERB MP and former energy minister Delyan Dobrev said that he was against a coalition. "If there was a coalition between the first two forces governing the country the way ‘We Continue the Change’ did in the past two years, it is better not to have such a coalition, according to me. We'd better go to the polls again," Dobrev said.
