A cycling tour mottoed Sofia rides a bike is starting from parliament building this morning.

All participants will get a T-shirt with a start number with which they will be able to take part in many raffles with prizes in South Park, while animators will cater for the festive decoration of the bicycles. The park’s large meadow will host a sports day with concerts, and fun and games. The 4-kilometre long ride will not be a race – the purpose is to raise awareness of the need for cleaner air, and a greener and more beautiful capital city.

The event is organized by Sofia, European capital of sport, the Urban Mobility Centre and Sofia Municipality.
