Georgi Peev won the 100m breaststroke title at the 2023 World Transplant Games held in Perth, Australia. Georgi Peev, who lives in the town of Haskovo (Southeastern Bulgaria), announced this news on his Facebook page. Athletes from 45 countries are participating in the 24th World Transplant Games.
Georgi Peev is the first double organ transplant recipient in Bulgaria who earned five medals from one European transplant game.
