The FBI arrested Jack Teixeira, a member of the US Air National Guard, who they believe is linked to a trove of leaked classified US intelligence documents. Federal authorities are investigating leaks of classified U.S intelligence revealing government secrets about the Ukraine war. Teixeira will appear in court in Massachusetts to face charges. According to the Pentagon, the leak was a deliberate criminal act.
Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock is paying an official visit to China. She urged Beijing to call on Russia to stop the war in Ukraine.
