There are around 200 Bulgarian citizens who own real estate in Dubai, National Revenue Agency Director General Boris Mihaylov told public service TV BNT, and added that inspections were ongoing to determine whether they have any unpaid taxes. 23 Bulgarians with property in Dubai have already undergone checks. 21 of the inspections have been completed and fiscal liabilities amounting to EUR 67,000 have been established. Boris Mihaylov stated further that he was expecting a full official list of the names of Bulgarians with real estate in Dubai to be received through international exchange.

Similar checks are underway of Bulgarians with property in Greece.
