4.9 magnitude earthquake in Romania

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 has been registered near the town of Targu Giu in Romania, seismologists from the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences said. The quake occurred at 16:02 Bulgarian time and was aftershock of the earthquakes that shook the same area on February 13 and 14 with magnitudes of 5.2 and 5.7 on the Richter scale, according to the National Seismological Centre. Today's quake was again felt in the Bulgarian Danube city of Vidin, BNR Vidin reports.
