VMZ Sopot is preparing an investment program to expand its production in compliance with NATO standards. This became clear during the visit of the Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton, to the largest arms factory in Bulgaria. Irina Shtonova told Commissioner Breton that companies from the Bulgarian defense industry are actively participating and performing well in both highly competitive international NATO tenders and in current European programmes with a focus on defense.
