Twenty-two-year-old Denis Rutsi is among the victims of the deadly train crash in Greece, his mother Mirela Rutsi said for Mediapool. On February 28, a head-on collision between a freight train and a passenger train claimed 57 lives.

Denis' parents had hoped to find their son among the 300 survivors. The young man has a dual citizenship- Bulgarian and Greek. He had a seat in the fifth carriage, which was not damaged in the crash. However, Denis went to the carriage restaurant immediately before the crash. His remains were identified after a DNA test.
