President Rumen Radev congratulated women in Bulgaria on International Women’s Day, 8 March. On Facebook he wrote: Always be an inspiration with your dignity and your charm, always bring gentleness and warmth into the lives of your families and loved ones! Health, love and appreciation to you all!

At the start of the Council of Ministers meeting, caretaker PM Galab Donev also congratulated Bulgarian women: Today we shall begin with an item that is not on the agenda. Dear women of Bulgaria, whether you accept or reject 8 March, you are wisdom, a gentle force, an inspiration, life. We thank you for your courage, for caring, for the patience with which you create a world of peace and justice for the children of Bulgaria.
