Brave girls are always one step ahead, DIA tells us in her new song

DIA is the artistic name of Dimana Mircheva. Eight years ago, she recorded her first song "Egeia", which immediately became a hit. While she was still a student at the "Lyubomir Pipkov" National Music School in Sofia, where she studied folk singing, DIA created her characteristic style - a combination of mainstream and folklore, which the young performer continues to develop.

In “Izgori Me”, which is her first song of 2023, DIA focuses on modern relationships. “The truth is, girls, that the prince on the white horse exists only in fairy tales. In the times we live in, men are zealously guarding their hearts. Only the woman who has the courage to admit her feelings, who burns in them and makes the first step enters into a passionate relationship.”

The song was created with the support of the National Culture Fund and DIA worked for the first time with the popular hit writer Denis Popstoev. Known for his work with some of the biggest names in music, Denis admits that the DIA project was an unusual move for him as well.

The team worked actively on the details in the song and created the music together. DIA wrote the lyrics and melody and Dennis added the masterful arrangement.

The final touch to the finished hit is the video.
