Solar power generation increases by 30% year-on-year

In 2022, solar power generation increased by 30% year-on-year, the Director of the Electricity System Operator Angelin Tsachev announced at a conference dedicated to the decarbonisation of Bulgaria’s economy.

 Angelin Tsachev predicted that in 2023 solar power generation will increase by another 30-50%. The projected average price per megawatt-hour is around EUR 153-178.
