Bulgaria's national record holder of 10,000 m, half marathon and marathon Militsa Mircheva has finished second in the marathon in Naples, Italy, at a distance of 21.1 km.
Militsa crossed the finish line a second behind Angelika Mach (Poland), clocking in at 1:12:35 hours against 1:12:34 hours of the winner.

28-year-old Mircheva wanted to improve her national record in this discipline, which is 1:11:14 from the marathon in Valencia 2019, but low temperatures and high winds prevented the runners from showing their best, Atletikabg.com reports.
