The number of young doctors who have chosen to stay in Bulgaria has gone up in recent years, Prof. Dimitar Bulanov, dean of the Medical Faculty stated during the official graduation ceremony of medical students. In his address to the young doctors, President Rumen Radev expressed his gratitude to the administration and the lecturers at the university for preserving and building upon the traditions in the field.
“Forming a doctor is a veritable mission, and in this the Medical University in Sofia is, without doubt, a leader,” he said. Rumen Radev also thanked the parents who guided their children to take up medicine and who have given them the strength and the faith to continue.
