In an interview with BTV, Bulgaria's Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov defined as manipulative the claims that Bulgaria will send troops to Ukraine. "Bulgaria will send instructors to Germany and Poland, as decided by the National Assembly. The MPs decided on December 9, 2022 to send up to 60 military personnel to these two countries. They will instruct Ukrainian servicemen on the territory of Germany and Poland," he explained.

Regarding aid to Ukraine, Stoyanov pointed out that Bulgaria has given what it can allocate and what was requested by the Ukrainian side, and it is in the top3 of the priorities of the Ukrainian side. What was sent is classified information, the minister stressed.
