Dushantsi village will soon have a campsite

Photo: camping.bg

This year’s 4th edition of the competition for university student projects for constructing a campsite was launched in January. Out of all entries submitted, the commission selected the project in the village of Dushantsi near the town of Pirdop, the platform Camping.bg writes. The terrain covers 10,000 sq. m. and is surrounded by wooded hills. Topolnitsa River meanders nearby and it is close to a main road.

A tent, camper and caravan campsite is to be built there, as well as several studios. There is a swimming pool on location, as well as dozens of walnut, pine, fir and linden trees. The authors of the project have planned to build a small stage nearby, as well as a fireplace with a gazebo and a wooden bridge over the river leading to an adventure park and an open-air gym. The contest is organized by Camping.bg in partnership with the University of Forestry in Sofia.
