Bulgaria to intensify dialogue with OECD

Bulgarian representatives will participate more actively in the meetings of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The process of accession to OECD will remain among the main policy priorities of Bulgaria's caretaker cabinet in the coming months, Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov said.

 In Nikolay Milkov's words, it is important for Bulgaria to ensure the presence of competent people at the meetings who can take part in the work of the organisation's committees. Bulgaria is interested in participating in discussions concerning the global economy and development, Nikolay Milkov noted and added that he will propose to the Council of Ministers that experts from the Ministry of Finance, The Ministry of Environment and Water, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Education and Science be seconded to the meetings.
