No Bulgarians reported injured after the devastating earthquake in Southeastern Türkiye

No Bulgarian citizens have been reported injured after the 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Southeastern Türkiye, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

“76 citizens of Türkiye lost their lives in Adana, Adiyaman, Malatya, Marash and Gaziantep. 440 citizens were injured in Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakir, Adana, Adiyaman, Malatya, Osmaniye, Hatay and Kilis", Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority said in a statement.

Bulgaria's diplomatic missions in Türkiye are in contact with the local authorities and with representatives of the local expat community, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
