GERB: BSP is no longer our main opponent

"At the moment, BSP is not the main opponent of GERB, because it is already a small political force. "We continue the Change" are becoming out main opponent as we have serious differences with them". This is what Toma Bikov from GERB told BNR. When asked about the lack of judicial reform, he commented that this could not be done fast and that the parliament must first appoint a cabinet.

Today, a meeting of the National Council of the BSP should have taken place in order to report on what was done in the 48th National Assembly. The meeting failed because of lack of quorum. Before the meeting, Kiril Dobrev and Kostadin Pascalev, known as critics of BSP leader, Kornelia Ninova, announced that more than 60 delegates had been removed from the composition of the BSP congress scheduled for February 11 and 12. They described this as scandalous and unconstitutional. "The congress has the authority to close the BSP and take away Ninova's powers," Dobrev said.
