Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 1 February 2023

February to start with cloudy, windy weather, snowfall in the mountains

During the night, the cloudiness will be mostly significant, but only in isolated places, mainly in the mountainous regions, light snow will fall. The northwest wind will temporarily weaken.

Tomorrow, the first day of February, the cloudiness over the country will be variable, decreasing in places, temporarily to insignificant clouds. In the Danube plain and in the western part of the Upper Thracian plain, a moderate and temporarily strong wind from the west-northwest is expected. 

The minimum temperatures will be between minus 3°C and 2°C, in Sofia - around minus 3°C. The maximum temperatures on Wednesday will be between 4°C and 9°C, in Sofia - about 4°C.

Partly cloudy skies are expected over the mountains. There will be a strong, high and stormy wind from the north-northwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be about minus 1°C, at 2,000 metres - about minus 7°C.
