Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 29 January 2023

Cold weather with temperatures around zero expected on Sunday

During the night and tomorrow the weather will remain mostly cloudy, but the precipitation will weaken and stop, at the latest in the northeastern regions of the country. A light to moderate wind will blow from the west-northwest. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 3 °C and 2 °C, and the maximum - between 1°C and 6°C. 


In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around minus 2 °C, the maximum - around 2 °C.

It will be mostly cloudy and foggy over the mountains. Light snow will fall in places in Western and Central Bulgaria before noon, but it will stop in the afternoon. A moderate wind will blow from the north-northwest. The maximum temperature at a height of 1,200 m will be around minus 3 °C, at 2,000 m - around minus 8 °C.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly cloudy, before noon on the northern coast with snowfall. A moderate wind will blow from the north-northwest. The maximum temperatures will be between 2°C and 5°C, and of the sea water - 8°-9°.
