The first key stage for the creation of a National Decarbonisation Fund under the Recovery and Resilience Plan has been successfully completed, the Ministry of Energy announced. This happened with the implementation of the project "Support for the creation of a National Decarbonisation Fund", through which an assessment of the national regulatory framework for energy efficiency was carried out.

The fund will support investments in low-carbon development "through sustainable and targeted financing of a wide group of beneficiaries" and will be a major financial scheme to support the renewal of the building stock in the country.
