Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Saturday, January 21

Precipitation will temporarily stop on Friday night. Clouds will break over most parts of the country. Later, clouds will increase from the southwest.

On Saturday, January 21, there will be significant cloudiness. It will rain in some areas in Southwestern Bulgaria. There will be moderate to heavy rain in the far southern regions. There will be southerly and southeasterly winds in Eastern Bulgaria. The wind speed will reach 15 meters per second. The lowest temperatures will fluctuate between 0°C and 5°C, for Sofia-around minus 1°C-0°C. Daytime highs will range from 4°-6°C in the northwestern parts of the country to 14°C-16°C in Eastern Bulgaria, for Sofia-around 9°C.

Over the mountains it will be mostly cloudy. There will be light snow in some massifs. It will rain below 1,000 meters. There will be strong to hurricane-force southerly and southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters- around 3°C, at, 2,000 meters- around minus 4°C.
