Bulgarian President Rumen Radev holds meeting with Turkish Minister of Energy Fatih Dönmez

On January 3, President Rumen Radev meets Turkish Minister of Energy, Fatih Dönmez in Sofia. The visit of the Turkish minister is a continuation of the agreements for the development of bilateral relations in the sphere of energy, reached at the meeting of President Radev and President Erdogan on December 9.

The possibilities for further deepening of cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey, including natural gas supply and new partnerships will be discussed.

Before that, in the presence of the Bulgarian Minister of Energy Rosen Hristov and his Turkish counterpart Fatih Dönmez, an agreement will be signed for a period of 13 years, through which Bulgargaz will get access to the terminals and the gas transmission network of the Turkish state energy company BOTAŞ.

After signing the agreement, Prime Minister Galab Donev will have talks with the two energy ministers about other opportunities for cooperation  between Bulgaria and Turkey in the energy sphere.
