The threshold values of ammonia (NH3) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) have not been exceeded, data from a mobile automatic station for measuring the quality of atmospheric air near the Kalotina border crossing show.

The mobile station was positioned near the border after an incident in which a freight train carrying ammonia derailed in the region of eastern Serbia, the Ministry of Environment reported. According to the analysis, there were no violations of the norms of the main indicators of atmospheric air quality, namely – ozone, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide. The measurements were carried out in the period December 26 - 29.
