Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky appoints new ambassador to Bulgaria

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a decree to appoint Olesya Ilashchuk as Ukraine’s Ambassador in Bulgaria. Olesya Ilashchuk will be a successor to the current ambassador Vitaly Moskalenko. According to Ukrainian media, the Ukrainian President also appointed a new ambassador to Latvia. New ambassadors are to be appointed in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Peru.  

We are preparing to upgrade the diplomatic service, we will strengthen the Ukrainian embassies. The second aspect of Ukrainian diplomacy is to increase cooperation with our traditional partners so that the next year will really be decisive in this war and Ukraine will achieve all its goals", President Zelensky said in his nightly address.
