Bulgaria's Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov is visiting Ukraine, his Ukrainian colleague Oleksii Reznikov announced in a tweet. "Honored to welcome Minister of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria Dimitar Stoyanov. Grateful for Bulgaria's decision to provide security assistance to Ukraine. Looking forward to further developing the Bulgaria-Ukraine cooperation," Reznikov wrote. A photo of the two ministers was also uploaded. The Bulgarian Ministry of Defence has not announced the visit.

The Ukrainian forces are already trained and use Bulgarian anti-tank weapons, reports the website of the non-governmental Ukrainian Military Center, without specifying the route through which the weapons and ammunition reached Ukraine.

For the BNR, the Ministry of Defense explained that the sending of military aid would take place only after the decision taken by the parliament is published in the State GazetteThe BSP called on the President Rumen Radev to veto the decision of the parliament and stated that if this will not happen, they will turn to the Constitutional Court.

The direct participation of Belarus in frontline actions against Ukraine is unlikely, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) claims. According to the US-based institute, judging by the rhetoric of the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko after the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the host refused to allow the Belarusian army to join the war. Lukashenko emphasized the need to counter "threats" from the West and NATO, which is a formula that his troops will remain on the borders with Poland and the Baltics.
