The Ministry of Interior of North Macedonia continues with actions that the Bulgarian associations in the country describe as repressive, BTA reported, quoting Bulgarian caretaker Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov.
At a press conference in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Milkov pointed out that instead of looking for those responsible for the acts of vandalism against Bulgarian cultural centers in the Republic of North Macedonia, a feeling of impunity is being created, as well as atmosphere of fear among Bulgarians there. According to Minister Milkov, the institutions of North Macedonia do not comply with the commitments made to the EU and Bulgaria. In addition, the positive approach of the two foreign ministries does not translate into a consistent policy, nor even into separate positive actions of any other department in North Macedonia, the minister pointed out.
