Charity is the best and most accurate characteristic of Bulgarian society, Vice President says

At a ceremony in the presidency for the presentation of the "Corporate Donor" awards for 2022, Vice President Iliana Iotova presented Shefket Chapadjiev with the "Person with a significant contribution to the development of donation in Bulgaria" prize. "No matter the crises we have to deal with, we can still do good and we value good,” Iotova said. ”We have not forgotten how to be humane and this is the best and most accurate characteristic of Bulgarian society."

The winner was born the city of Madan. He has been living in the USA for many years and donates funds both to his hometown and to the Bulgarian community abroad.
