Ukraine refuses some of the weapons Bulgaria plans to send, MP says

Ukraine has refused some of the military assistance which Bulgaria plans to send by force of a National Assembly decision, the Bulgarian 24 Chasa newspaper writes.

The newspaper quotes the only MP who abstained during the vote on sending weapons to Ukraine, Bogomil Petkov from We Continue the Change, as saying that he cannot disclose classified information, but that there are weapons and ammunition which have been refused by the Ukrainian side. In order for the Bulgarian military aid to be sent following the parliamentary decision, President Rumen Radev has to issue a decree.

On the morning of 14 December, Russia once again attacked Kyiv and Kyiv region using Iranian drones. The two waves of attack have damaged residential buildings.

In the past 48 hours, Russian milbloggers have been posting information that chief of the General staff of the Russian army, Gen. Valery Gerasimov has been dismissed. Citing British intelligence, UNIAN writes that there is no official information that Valery Gerasimov, the strategist behind the 2014 occupation of Crimea, has been ousted.
