Weather forecast: Temperatures continue to drop, it will snow in some parts of Bulgaria

Cold air will continue to penetrate the country on Monday. Temperatures will continue to drop. There will be significant cloudiness. It will stop raining in the western parts of the country on Sunday night. It will continue to rain along the Black Sea coast on Monday morning. No precipitation is expected in most parts of the country before noon. It will start raining again in the northern and the northwestern parts of Bulgaria in the afternoon hours. It will snow on higher ground in Western Bulgaria. Thin snow cover will form. It will start snowing in Central and Northeastern Bulgaria on Monday night. Rain is in the forecast for the southern parts of the country. Minimum temperatures will range between 1°C and 6°C, for Sofia-around 1°C. Daytime highs will fluctuate between 7°C and 12°C.

Over the mountains there will be significant cloudiness. It will rain in the afternoon. Snow is expected in the massifs in Western Bulgaria. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters around 5°C, at 2,000 meters- around minus 2°C.
