At a closed meeting in the Bulgarian National Assembly, the Defence Committee will discuss the decision to send military aid to Ukraine. The list of military aid is confidential, but a few days ago the Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov mentioned that the aid includes small arms and some ammunition.

Meanwhile, in the capital of Ukraine, they are already preparing for a hard winter. After more than 1,000 missiles were launched against the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, the power transmission system has not been interrupted, the Ukrainian Interfax agency reports. The agency quoted Ukrenergo CEO Volodymyr Kudrytsky as saying that Ukraine is experiencing the most severe shortage of generating capacity, although consumption has fallen between 25 and 30 percent compared to the pre-war period.
Authorities in Kyiv urge citizens to prepare to evacuate if electricity is cut and water is pumped out of buildings. In the case of freezing temperatures, the freezing of water in the pipes can cause irreparable damage to the water network and make homes uninhabitable.
