Bulgaria reports one Covid-related death in past day, zero vaccinations

41 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 773 tests performed in the country over the past 24 hours, 17 down on the previous day. Over 56% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated. The positivity rate stands at 5.3%, versus 5.84% on Sunday, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The number of active cases in the country is up by 33 to 4,474.

Five is the number of new hospital admissions in the past day. The number pf patients being treated in hospital is up by 2 to 356, of them 40 are in intensive care.

One patient with established Covid-19 infection has died in Bulgaria in the past day, they were not vaccinated. A total of 38,050 people have died since the start of the pandemic. Seven are reported recovered in the past day.

No vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours.
