“Political influence on the media in Bulgaria is more and more conspicuous, and the media regulator is not functioning properly, its members represent political interests,” said Minister of Culture in the caretaker cabinet Prof. Velislav Minekov in a video conference call with European Commission Vice President Věra Jourová.

Minister Minekov is to present his position on the European Media Freedom Act to the meeting of the Council of the EU, the Ministry of Culture says.
