Bulgaria reports 275 new Covid-19 cases, 8 deaths

275 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 3,595 tests performed over the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 7%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

65% of the newly registered infections are among the unvaccinated. The highest number of new infections is in Sofia - 76, Plovdiv – 17, And in Gabrovo - 14

495 patients are being treated in hospital, 57 of them in intensive care. 76% of the new hospital admissions, or 54 patients are not vaccinated.

Eight is the number of Covid-related deaths in the past day, 75% of them among the unvaccinated, 526 is the number of recoveries reported. The number of active cases in the country stands at 7,502.

691 doses of vaccine against coronavirus have been administered in the 24 hours, 2,073,949 is the number of people in Bulgaria with a completed vaccination cycle.
