Bulgaria wins 7 medals at the European kickboxing championships in Antalya

Three Bulgarians became European champions at the kickboxing championships held in AntalyaBorislav Radulov, in "Point Fighting" style on tatami, in 57 kg category, Kiril Iliev, in "Light contact" style on tatami, in 57 kg category and Ognyan Mirchev, K1 style in the ring, in 63,5 kg category.

On the penultimate day of competition Bulgarian national team competitors Ali Yuzeir, in style K1 in the ring, in category 75 kilos, Hristo Kalaidziev, in style "Low Kick" in the ring, in category 86 kilos, Mario Arzhanov, in style "Full Contact" in the ring, in category 54 kilos and Kristina Nikolova, in style "Kicklight contact" on tatami, in category 50 kilos won four silver medals.

The Bulgarian Kickboxing and Muay Thai Confederation filed a complaint because the referees incorrectly counted several strikes by Kristina Nikolova and ruled a victory for her opponent Duygu Turan of Turkey. 
Kristina Nikolova will return from Antalya with a collection of one silver and two bronze medals won in other styles.
