Rumen Radev honors Presidential badge of honor to prominent Bulgarian athletes

Bulgaria’s head of state Rumen Radev honored a Presidential badge of honor to prominent Bulgarian athletes for their exceptional merits and contribution to the development of Bulgarian sport and on the occassion of their anniversaries.

 "The future of any nation depends on the attitude towards its heroes and today's ceremony is an expression of the deep appreciation of our society", President Radev said. A Presidential badge of honor was presented to Olympic wrestling champions Boyan Radev and Petar Kirov, Olympic shooting champion Maria Grozdeva, Olympic silver medalist in gymnastics Krasimir Dunev, volleyball legend Tsvetana Bozhurina and Bulgarian Olympic Committee Secretary General Belcho Goranov.
