The Bulgarian government has extended until March 24, 2023 the validity period of the Program for Humanitarian Assistance to Displaced Persons from Ukraine with Provisional Protection in Bulgaria. New accommodation will be carried out only in state-run and municipal facilities by the Temporary Task Force of the National Migration Council.

The value of the aid for the sites that provide shelter is in the amount of  7.6 euro per day. The aid will be used in categorized or registered accommodation placed entered in the National Tourist Register.

On November 9, in order to finance the costs of the hoteliers for sheltering the Ukrainian refugees, the government allocated an additional 3.35 million euros.
