446 people died in accidents on Bulgaria's roads this year, 7355 were injured

There have been a total of 268 serious road accidents in Bulgaria since the beginning of November, in which 23 people died and 350 were injured. Since the beginning of the year, the "war on the roads" has claimed the lives of a total of 446 people and 7,355 were injured.

On July 7, 2022 the government of Kiril Petkov launched a daily specialized police operation to control compliance with the Road Traffic Act, which would continue as long as necessary. The operation is still going on.
