"If someone expects us to give away the missile systems, I'm sorry, but it can't happen". This is what Bulgarian Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov told journalists. According to him, if Bulgaria provides Ukraine with heavy weapons, it will lose capabilities," 24 Chasa daily. "It will be very difficult for them to be restored, and let's not forget that Bulgaria is a border country for the conflict and at some point we can find ourselves in a very difficult situation," he said.

Stoyanov pointed out that if the deputies decide to send military aid to Ukraine, their decision will be political and not expert, that is, they cannot decide what type of weaponry should be provided. He assured that the ministry will conduct an analysis in such a way as to give aid to Ukraine that does not harm the army.
