Forest fire raging on Bulgaria-Greece border

A forest fire has been raging on the Bulgarian-Greek border. It covers a forest massif in the area of the village of Gorno Kapinovo in the region of Kardzhali. The fire front is about 1.5 kilometers long and access to the area is difficult.

The fire department in Kardzhali region, as well as forest workers are involved in putting out the fire. It is assumed that it spread from the Greek part of the Rhodopes, where a large fire has been raging since yesterday and planes are involved in extinguishing it, correspondent Valya Apostolova reported.
