"We will continue to provide financial, humanitarian, military, diplomatic and legal support and will stand firmly with Ukraine for as long as it takes", the leaders of the Group of Seven said in a statement. "We reaffirm our full support to Ukraine’s independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty in its internationally recognized borders", the leaders of Great Britain, the USA, France, Germany, Japan, Canada and Italy said at a virtual meeting with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky. G7 warned Moscow that a deliberate attack against allies’ critical infrastructure would be met with a united and determined response.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the leaders of the Group of Seven to give Ukraine enough air defense systems to stop Russia. In his words “Russia is trying to directly involve Belarus” in the war in Ukraine.

US President Joe Biden said he has no plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the upcoming G20 summit, unless it is to discuss the release of basketball star Britney Griner who has been imprisoned in Russia since February.
