Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev will participate in the first meeting of the European Political Community in Prague. 44 European leaders are to take part at the event. At the request of France, invitations have been sent to leaders of 27 EU countries and 17 other countries because of Russia's war against Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will address participants by video link. After the meeting on Friday, President Radev will participate in the informal meeting of heads of state or government in the Czech capital Prague, during which European leaders will discuss the new package of sanctions against Russia and how to continue the European Union’s support for Ukraine.
The format of the Ukraine in NATO declaration should be first within the framework of the entire European Union and then of NATO, Bulgaria’s Vice President Iliana Iotova said in the town of Svilengrad.
