Housing prices in Bulgaria rose by 14.6% for one year

Housing prices in Bulgaria continued to rise in the second quarter of 2022, according to the National Statistical Institute. 

Compared to the same period in 2021, real estate prices in the country have increased by an average of 14.6%, which is the largest increase in the indicator since the third quarter of 2008, the NSI data show.

The largest increase in real estate prices is in Ruse - by 23.3% compared to the second quarter of 2021.  Sofia ranks second with 17% and Burgas is third with a 14.9% year-on-year increase.
