The process took place in a protected environment in front of foreign observers and representatives of political parties. Only machines that have this hash code, certified by the Ministry of e-Government, the Institute of Standardization and the Institute of Metrology, will be used in the election.

The generated hash code must be the same on all machines that will be used in the election on October 2, Miteva added.
