Bulgaria's caretaker government believes that the monitoring mechanism on Bulgaria is exhausted and should not continue to serve as an informal argument against the deeper integration of Bulgaria into the EU
This was announced by the caretaker Minister of Justice Krum Zarkov at the first meeting of the Council for the Implementation of the National Coordination Mechanism on the Rule of Law.

The purpose of the mechanism and the Council to it is to organize internal monitoring of the areas that are still under the supervision of the European Commission, both only on Bulgaria and Romania, and also within the framework of the entire EU, in order to continue the efforts of Bulgaria in the guidelines adopted by it.
