Kiril Milov wins silver medal at the World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade

Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Youth and Sports Vesela Lecheva sent a congratulatory message to Kiril Milov, who won a silver medal at the World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade. Milov lost 1:5 to Olympic champion Artur Aleksanyan (Armenia) in the men’s Greko-Roman 97 kilograms competition. Artur Aleksanyan won his 4th world title.

"I keep working hard to become No 1 one day. I dream of winning an Olympic title", Milov said after the final.

Twenty-year-old Edmond Nazaryan is the second Bulgarian finalist at the World Wrestling Championships. He will compete for the gold medal in the men’s Greko-Roman 60 kilograms event on September 13 at 7 p.m. Bulgarian time.
