According to GERB's leader and former Premier Boyko Borissov, it would be extremely irresponsible if the parties represented in the future National Assembly fail to agree on a new cabinet and the country heads to new early elections. "If GERB wins the early elections, it will make every effort to form a government", Boyko Borissov assured. However, he categorically ruled out the possibility of forming a coalition with the Movement for Rights and Freedoms.

Bulgaria should aim at 100% diversification from Gazprom”, Boyko Borissov said with regard to the problems in the energy sector.
