President Rumen Radev is on official visit to United Arab Emirates

President Radev was welcomed by Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh - Minister of State, who also coordinates bilateral relations with the Republic of Bulgaria

On September 1 and 2, 2022, President Rumen Radev will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The visit is at the invitation of the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi H.W. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The two heads of state will sign bilateral documents in various sectors. 

A business forum with the participation of Bulgaria companies is to be held, organized by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce

The two countries are also working to reach an Agreement for the promotion and mutual protection of investments between the governments of Bulgaria and the UAE.

Among the highlights of the visit will be bilateral cooperation in the field of energy and economy and opportunities for investments in Bulgaria and joint projects with the participation of Bulgarian companies.

"Bulgaria aims at a much more active bilateral dialogue with the United Arab Emirates, leading to concrete results in energy, high technology, innovation, transport and other areas of mutual interest", President Radev said upon his arrival in the UAE last night.
