Azerbaijan to supply gas to Bulgaria from 1 October

Azerbaijan is ready to supply gas through the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector (IGB) from October 1, Caretaker Energy Minister Rosen Hristov said after a conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Parviz Shahbazov
The two ministers today discussed in a telephone conversation the stage of completion of the IGB and Azerbaijan's capacity to supply gas through the new interconnector. They also considered the technical aspect of delivering additional volumes of gas beyond those agreed. Bulgaria needs them to secure its heating season.
